I am a writer of fiction, non-fiction and screenplays, as well as an amateur photographer who is particularly inspired by travel.
Born in Sydney, Australia, I moved to Canada when I was eighteen, and now reside in the United Kingdom. My different homes have left me well-situated to explore across North America, Europe and beyond.
My life changed in 2005, when an industrial accident permanently reduced the strength and mobility of my right arm. It took over a decade and multiple corrective surgeries to manage the injury to the point where I could type without extreme pain, by which point I decided life was too short to not follow my dreams. I graduated from a BA (Creative Writing) degree at Liverpool John Moores University, and put every penny I could spare into travel. I am currently enrolled in the MLitt Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow.
I have started this website to share the advice, tips and experiences I have jotted down in my stack of notebooks over the last few years. I hope you find the journey as exciting and educational as I have.
